El curso va dirigido a aquellos clarinetistas interesados en mejorar y perfeccionar sus conocimientos musicales y técnicos del instrumento.
El curso se realizará en las instalaciones de la Unión Musical de Benidorm (Plaza Mayor, S/N edificio coblanca, 03501, Benidorm) y dará comienzo el 16 de julio de 2015 a las 9:00h.
II. CONTENIDOS DEL CURSO
En el curso se trabajarán los aspectos técnicos, musicales, físicos y mentales para preparar y afrontar audiciones de orquesta, recitales de música de cámara, etc..
CLASES INDIVIDUALES
Los clarinetistas inscritos en la modalidad de activo recibirán 3 clases. En estas clases se podrá trabajar el repertorio del concurso o cualquier otro repertorio.

Alumnos activos : 180€
Alumnos oyentes : 60€
IV. CONCURSO
En la tarde del día 19 se realizará el CONCURSO. Podrán participar todos los alumnos activos del curso. El concurso se desarrollará en dos rondas eliminatorias, en las cuales se interpretará el repertorio orquestal y solista del curso. El objetivo es aplicar todos los conceptos trabajados durante el curso y tener una experiencia cercana a lo que uno encuentra cuando realiza una audición para una
orquesta profesional. Los participantes recibirán comentarios por parte del jurado. Posiblemente haya un juez adicional invitado al concurso.

V. INSCRIPCIÓN
El número de plazas es limitado por riguroso orden de inscripción. En caso de no ser aceptado, por el limitado número de plazas, se devolverá el importe de la inscripción.

El plazo de inscripción finaliza el 1 de julio de 2015. Para realizar la inscripción se deberá enviar un e-mail a orchestralclarinet@gmail.com con los datos personales (nombre y apellidos, teléfono, dirección), un pequeño curriculum. Además se deberá realizar un ingreso de 60€ (el número de cuenta se facilitará una vez enviado el e-mail con los datos personales y curriculum, el resto del importe se abonará el primer día de curso). En caso de ser aceptado en el curso no se devolverá el importe de la cantidad abonada.

Una vez formalizada la inscripción en el curso se enviará por e-mail el repertorio orquestal del concurso.
Para las clases los clarinetistas podrán preparar el repertorio del concurso o cualquier otro repertorio.

This course is aimed at those clarinetists interested in improving and perfecting their musical and technical knowledge. There will be emphasis on orchestral studies but, it won’t be limited to it though. The course will take place at the Unión Musical de Benidorm building. The actual address is Plaza Mayor, S/N edificio Coblanca, 03501, Benidorm (Alicante, SPAIN). It will begin on July 16th 2015 at 9 a.m.

Technical, musical, physical and mental aspects will be worked on at the course having in mind orchestral auditions, recitals and such.
INDIVIDUAL CLASSES
Active participants will have 3 classes. On these classes the student may work on any chosen repertoire , whether it be orchestral excerpts, concertos, sonatas, solo pieces, etc.

The competition will take place on the evening of July 19th and any active student may participate. There will be two rounds in which participants will have to play differents excerpts from the orchestral and soloist repertoire worked on during the course. The goal is to be able to apply the different concepts worked on during the course and to be able to have an experience that will resemble an actual professional orchestral audition. Competition participants will get comments from judges afterwards. Most likely we will have an additional judge for the competition.

The number of spots available is limited and it is based on a first come first serve basis. In case a student did not get accepted due to not having any more available spots, the registration fee would be returned.
The registration deadline is July 1st 2015. To register please send a message to orchestralclarinet@gmail.com including your first and last names, phone number and physical address as well as your resume or curriculum vitae. Also one will have to send a 60 euros wire transfer. The bank account number will be provided after we receive the first e-mail with your personal information. The rest of the fee will be collected on July 16th. If indeed a student gets accepted into the course the registration fee will NOT be refunded.

Students are encouraged to do their own arrangements even though the course staff will make suggestions if inquiries are received.

Once a student is fully registered our staff will send the orchestral excerpts to practice for the course, in case you do bring excerpts to class or intend to do the competition. Let us mention one more time that students may bring whatever repertoire they choose to bring to classes. The course is NOT limited to working on orchestral excerpts.
